BIG WEDDINGS AREN’T FOR EVERYONE

For some, having a handful of your nearest and dearest around as you say that special “I do” is all you need. Sometimes it’s about quality over quantity. And for some, it’s the most budget friendly option for the time being, because let’s be real this world is not cheap.

Elopements have always been around, and they aren’t the Vegas drive thru quickie that you’re thinking of (but we will admit those sound fun and we would love to be apart of one) but rather a small, no fluff, gathering with only a handful of your best people. Elopements and micro-weddings have really taken off since the pandemic, giving some folks the perfect excuse to cut down on all of the extra frills that they didn’t necessarily want, but were influenced to add in for one reason or another (wedding politics is a very real thing!). Nonetheless, we love that micro-weddings and elopements are just as popular now, and they seem to be sticking around for the foreseeable future.
