it took us a couple of years…

To really find our “voice” as wedding photographers, but now with years of experience under our belt our work is a beautiful balance of both candid, documentary style, photography and editorial photography. We like to be as unobtrusive as possible during events, primarily focusing on real moments as they happen before us, bringing your stories to life by capturing genuine and intimate photos. Ultimately we love to make our clients happy by simply capturing their love, whether being a fly on the wall, giving guidance, or a little bit of both.

We’re a huge fan of taking candid photos of people, and we love to deliver those kinds of images to our couples. When we receive email responses of “I can’t believe you got this photo of my dad crying!” or “I didn’t even know that my niece was smiling at us like that during the ceremony” we know that we’ve done our job well. We love documenting excitement, happy tears, and all of the laughter as it organically happens, and overall giving couples a complete and realistic overview of their day.

We don’t do any kind of heavy retouching or manipulation to our photos, we believe that less is more when it comes to a photograph. We also shoot to our environment; if it’s a bright day then your photos will reflect that. If there’s a moody storm brewing behind you, you can bet we’ll keep those details in the photos too.

Overall, we first and foremost are documentary wedding photographers, and we are passionate about capturing honest imagery for our couples. We capture photograph that share how a day truly unfolds, and that genuinely reflect who our couples are.
