Vasiliki's (Not So) Sweet Sixteen Birthday Party

So she turned it into  a not so sweet sixteen and made the focus of party a night filled with dinner and dancing with all of her friends and family. Cathy (V's mom) decided last minute to get a large backdrop where all of the guests could pop in for a photo, she made a candy table, and even had a late night taco and burrito station- it was amazing! Asides from celebrating Vasiliki's birthday, obviously, the big focus of the night was having fun- the night was pretty much split into 2 parts: Arriving and Dancing. When guests arrived they took photos at the backdrop and had dinner then things went straight into dancing which is what happened until late in the night.

Something I've recently come to love is greek dancing- partly because I'm pretty sure I'm not coordinated enough to gracefully do it and partly because it's so fun to watch! I'll be the first to admit that it's a bit difficult to photograph- there are so many layers of people who are constantly moving (in directions and movements I'm not completely familiar with), but the dances are so high energy and beautiful, they're hard not to love!
