Kylie & Alex's Boho Farm Wedding in London

DID WE KNOW WE LOVED KYLIE + ALEX THE SECOND WE MET THEM? YES.

When we finally met K+A (after weeks of planning our styled shoot and chatting over text and email) we were immediately obsessed with them. Truth be told, anyone who agrees to doing a styled shoot with us after just getting back from tour instead of lounging at home and resting before taking off again, is the GOAT. *Small note: we can’t quite share that styled shoot yet, but keep your eyes peeled because it’ll be dropping soon!* We had a lot of fun with these two on set but we didn’t have much down time because we were really go-go-go all day long.

Our next great encounter with them was when we attempted to shoot their engagement photos…. It was a hot summer day and they were feeling a bit nervous before we even began shooting so to relax we decided to go to their local watering hole at The Drake to get a glass of wine and unwind. Well, one glass turned into 3 bottles and sharing our life stories with each other, talking about the wedding, and maybe for 1 second trying to reschedule their engagement shoot.

A couple of months later when their wedding finally rolled around, even though we had only previously hung out with them twice, it felt like we’ve been friends for the last few years; we all were incredibly comfortable which made everything so easy going and a lot more fun on the day of!

Stef spent the early afternoon at the Delta Armouries in London with the girls getting ready and upon our arrival, Ethan immediately hopped into the guys limo and went to the venue. Their ‘venue’ was in Mount Brydges, Ontario (about a 30 minute drive from the hotel in London) on Alex’s aunt’s farm; a place his grandfather help restore before he passed away and the absolute perfect place to celebrate their love!

THE CEREMONY BEGAN LATER IN THE AFTERNOON AND IT. WAS. HOT. BUT TRUTH BE TOLD, NONE OF THAT MATTERED…

Because all we could focus on was how beautiful Kylie looked, how emotional Alex was, and how in awe all of their family and friends were. Their ceremony was heartfelt, emotional, and filled with so many tears! When Kylie and Alex were exchanging their vows to each other they invited Kylie’s daughter, Rowan, up so Alex could exchange a few vows with her too. This part got us right in the feels and we may or may not have shed a few tears behind our cameras ;’)

As if you couldn’t already tell by the ceremony photos, Alex’s aunt’s farm property is probably one of the most beautiful and green spaces we’ve ever been on! We moved around to the other side of the property to take family photos and even ventured across the street to an open plot of land (with seriously the most perfectly manicured lawn that had Stef drooling!) for bridal and grooms party photos, and couple portraits.

Since we had previously shot these two for our styled shoot, when the time came, they instantly reverted back to their modelling day and hit every pose so perfectly and so flawlessly we were #SHOOK!

When we returned to the tent for dinner these two had the most romantic first dance together, they played the shoe game, and had some of their closest friends and family (including Alex’s bandmates) share a few heartfelt words; it was the perfect end to the perfect day.

Thank you thank you thank you Kylie + Alex for having us celebrate your special day with you- it was such a magical and warm (physically and emotionally haha) event that we’ll never forget!
