Moody Styled Shoot at the Campbell House Museum

EVERYONE WAS ABOUT TO BEGIN THEIR WEDDING SEASON LAST YEAR AND WE DECIDED TO PUT A SHOOT TOGETHER...

Call us crazy, we sure felt like it in the days leading up to the shoot, but it was #worthit. We had an amazing opportunity to shoot at the Campbell House Museum and there was no way that we could pass it up. Since we were so passionate about this vision coming to life, we gathered up a team of wedding creatives- many of which are our crazy talented friends- and made this shoot happen!

Our models, Kylie and Alex, got married earlier this fall (have you seen their wedding yet?) and Alex is in a band, and was previously on a 3 month long tour that ended 1 day before our shoot. Their pre-wedding jitters mixed with not seeing each other for 3 months gave us so much emotion for us to work with which made everything look so beautiful and authentic! As wedding photographers, our style is generally quite playful, honest, and intimate; we have a better time connecting with our couples when we know that they're comfortable and enjoying themselves, so we figured that the best way to apply this to our styled shoot, was to shoot an amazing couple with a genuine connection. It’s been almost a year since we shot this, probably 1 full year since we started planning, and looking back on the photos even a year later, they still hold the same warmth and emotion as they did on the day that we were shooting them.

See photos from our shoot down below, and don't forget to lurk/follow everyone who made this shoot happen because without them we wouldn’t have been able to pull this off!
