WE KNOW THAT WHEN WE RECEIVE INQUIRES MANY COUPLES HAVE A LONG LIST OF QUESTIONS TO ASK

And whether we've been talking with couples for ages or have just started speaking for the first time, we know that time is always of the essence and instead of sending 30 emails with 1 or 2 questions each we've complied our most frequently asked questions into a post for you to look through right off the bat... 3 PEOPLE, THAT'S GREAT BUT HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our team is comprised of 3 photographers; 2 of us will shoot for you, and 1 person will be in charge of processing, editing, printing, etc. to streamline all of the post-wedding photo work. What's great about 3 people is that if anything were to happen to any of us *knock on wood* and for whatever reason someone can't make it, we have another person readily available to jump in on a moment's notice, not to disrupt your big day!

On the day of your wedding we split up in the morning to photograph both the bridal and groom's party getting ready, we'll get back together during the ceremony and have one person remain stationary and another person moving around to capture different angles. When you're ready to shoot family photos we'll have one person photographing and another organizing the shot list for optimal efficiency!  And finally, throughout the reception we'll both be shooting more formal portraits of everyone celebrating as well as lots of candids!

ARE YOUR PHOTOS WATERMARKED?

We want you to remember us, but not in that kind of way! So no our photos are not watermarked; it takes away from the beauty and sentimentality of everything too much!

HOW DO ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS WORK?

We love engagement sessions because they mean that we get to spend a little more time with you, you become a little more comfortable in front of our cameras, and then we get to give you more photos of you both celebrating with just each other during this crazy time of wedding planning! It's a win-win all around!

Engagement sessions can be shot up to 2 months before your wedding date, last 2 hours long and include as many outfit changes as we can fit into that time (typically 2 or 3).

We always like to send a small preview of photos so we'll send you a little something a few days following your session and then all of your photos will be completed within 2 weeks! Your photos will be available for your to download via a private online gallery where you can download and share with family and friends, and we'll also include a copy of your session on the final USB we'll send to you following your wedding to have as a hard copy!

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES FOR TRAVELLING?

One of our biggest job perks is that we frequently get to travel outside of the Greater Toronto Area and visit cities and  towns that we wouldn't normally get to go to, and truthfully, there's nothing more than we all enjoy than travelling. With that being said, as much as we carpool (99.9999% of the time we carpool) to cut costs, we still need gas to get places.

Any locations farther than 40km (one way) from our home base (at Bloor/Lansdowne) in Toronto is $0.55/km.

For example: London, ON is 190km from our home base. This means 150km of this travel will be subject to additional fees. Travel for this trip will amount to an additional $82.50.

LET'S TALK MONEY: WHAT'S THE BREAKDOWN?

We take 3 instalments for payments:

  1. A retainer to secure and book your wedding date. This is due upon signing our contract.
  2. 50% of your total fee due 4 weeks before your wedding date
  3. Your remaining balance is due 1 week after you've received your images (not including your retainer).

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

E-Transfer, cheque, or credit card via PayPal (credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee). We accept cash, however we do not offer discounts or tax free payments in return for cash.

WHAT'S THE PROCESS LIKE FOR RECEIVING PHOTOS?

We like to almost immediately send out a preview of photos within 3 business days following your wedding so you can have a little something to share with your family and friends- we know they're waiting on Facebook and Instagram!

Our tun around time for all of your photos is 4 weeks and all of your photos will be made available via a digital download on a private online gallery. We always send a USB of your photos for you to have a hard copy back up (along with encouraging you to separately back up your photos because you can truly never be too safe!) and we generally send your USB at the same time as when we send your prints. If you'd like for us to send your USB before your prints, that's no problem too!

For Prints: After we send you your full photo gallery, you select which photos you would like and at which size; super simple! We ship via Canada Post with tracking information and a required signature upon delivery.

For Photo Books: This is a more collaborative process where we work with you! If you don't know where to start we can mock up a couple of different layouts for you and you can add in or take out photos until it's perfect. If you already know what you want that's great- send us which photos you want on which pages and we'll put it together for you! We allow up to 3 complimentary book revisions. We ship via Canada Post with tracking information and a required signature upon delivery.

We all operate on Macs, always always always backing up our work on various external hard drives as well as cloud based back ups.
