Abina's Baptism in Mississauga

WHEN WE FIRST SPOKE TO NATHALIE ABOUT HER DAUGHTER'S BAPTISM SHE STRESSED THE IMPORTANCE OF HER FAMILY BEING PRESENT AT THE CEREMONY

And not taking photos, which was funny because at the time we just published our most recent Wedding Planning post, 4 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Hire Your Friend or Family to Shoot Your WeddingBefore we even began discussing baptism details (all the important questions like when and where) we talked about how different it is having your family and friends shoot for you vs. a professional that you hire. Abina's baptism was a big milestone not just for her, but for her whole family and Nathalie wanted nothing more than for her family to witness, and truly be with her and her daughter throughout the ceremony. And the icing on top of everything? The baptism was taking place right in my mom's neighbourhood so going from spending a small afternoon with one incredible family to being able to visit my own was truly a treat for me!

Taking place on a Saturday afternoon at Paroisse Sainte-Famille in Mississauga, the ceremony was conducted in both French and English by Father Antoine Badr, and celebrated with Abina's closest family, friends, and godparents!
